Original mid-century J.C. Higgins hunting vest, sold through Sears Roebuck & Co. Made in USA, featuring tan canvas body with brown elastic cartridge loops across the front. Classic utilitarian design built for field use, lightweight yet durable. Early J.C. Higgins woven label with red flying duck graphic (used circa 1940s–50s). Button-front closure, small chest pocket, and distinctive reinforced stitching typical of pre-war Sears outdoor garments. Shows authentic patina and wear consistent with age, visible stains and small holes add genuine character.
